Patterson summer interns share their experiences

Summer can’t last forever, and this past week our 2026 Patterson interns shared their summer experiences during their internship presentations.

For the past several months, 11 new interns have brought their energy and interest in learning to all aspects of our company, where they gained hands-on experience in their departments, while advancing their own skillsets.

Jill Stob, video production intern, says she enjoyed not just the professional experience, but the people she had the chance to meet as well.

“I loved my internship experience at Patterson!” she says. “I loved being able to be a part of a talented team and being able to help them shoot and edit videos for a variety of different areas of the business. I learned so much about the corporate world and met so many cool people, including my fellow interns! Along with gaining experience, having the opportunity to assist Twin Cities communities by attending intern volunteering events and making videos highlighting the Patterson Foundation were some of my favorite parts of my internship.”

From content creation to sourcing to internal audit, our interns had the opportunity to see how all of the aspects of our business work together to better serve our customers, employees and communities. 

They also had the chance to visit with different leaders from the organization and participate in volunteer events to give back to important causes.

Katelyn Lambert, senior talent acquisition specialist, had the chance to work directly with the interns throughout the summer, and saw firsthand how much they were able to learn from Patterson, and how the organization was able to benefit from their hard work.

“This year’s intern program has been nothing short of exceptional. We welcomed a group of bright, motivated young adults who brought fresh perspectives, strong work ethic, and a genuine enthusiasm for learning,” she says. “Watching them grow professionally and contribute meaningful work has been incredibly rewarding. They set a high bar for future cohorts, and we’re proud to have been part of their journey.”
