Community Support
Giving Week benefits nonprofits nationwide
This past February, Patterson employees donated their time and energy to supporting various causes across the country as part of our annual Patterson Giving Week. Across the country, creativity in giving time, donations and energy to nonprofits made a big difference! Patterson celebrated over 30 team volunteer events. In one week, Patterson and the Patterson Foundation donated $67,000 in cash, products and volunteer time.
In Minnesota, teams created dozens of training tools and supplies kits for service dogs in training for Can Do Canines Assistance Dogs and more than 400 meal kits for kids via The Open Door Pantry.
In North Carolina, a WOW team created Going Home gift bags to benefit the adopted animals from Charlie’s Angels Animal Rescue and Brother Wolf Animal Rescue. These rescues have continued their community efforts in easing financial burdens for pet owners affected by Helene – despite the devastation to their own facilities.
And in Colorado, teams sorted, prepared and assembled food for community members in need at the Food Bank of Larimer County and Weld Food Bank.
Thirteen trivia teams came together for trivia. The winning team, a group from DXP, chose to donate their $1,000 winnings to Pawsabilities Vet Med, a national organization that creates more equitable opportunities in veterinary hospitals.
Plus, the Patterson Foundation donated $27,000+ to these nonprofits and more through Dollars for Doers.
Bravo, Team Patterson!
