Interns learn about community support by packing more than 1,000 dental kits

The interns continued their summer at Patterson by learning about the Patterson Foundation and Patterson’s commitment to community. This past Wednesday the team gathered at headquarters and assembled 1,133 dental hygiene kits that will be sent to Mission Outpost Dental Clinic in Burnsville, Minnesota. This event is a staple of the intern program and a way to showcase our People-First value. The kits will be given to families with oral health needs and the clinic’s resource center.

The Patterson Foundation and Patterson’s support for Mission Outpost Dental Clinic runs deep. The Foundation presented them with a $26,000 grant check earlier this year and will provide an additional $1,000 through Dollars for Doers program. Patterson also donated around $2,000 worth of supplies!

“This volunteer event was the perfect way to tie the Foundation and Patterson’s philanthropic efforts together,” said Senior Patterson Foundation Manager Lindsay Stewart. “Since Patterson fully believes in and supports our commitment to community, it’s important we showcase this to our interns.”
