Community Support

A head for numbers. A heart for helping.

“We are feeding 13 kids for an entire year or 3 families for an entire year – good work!” 😊

The email from lead accountant Eryn Renze followed a big volunteer event at a recent Twins game, at Target Field in Minneapolis. Thirteen Patterson employees pitched in to pack meals for Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) – and they packed enough to last some families and kids throughout a year.

Another pretty cool number? The Patterson Foundation will donate $1,300 to FMSC as part of Dollars for Doers; every group of two or more volunteers gets $100 per person donated to the nonprofit you volunteer at through D4D.

Eryn is no stranger to gathering groups to volunteer. This is the fourth Pack at the Park volunteer event, and she’s been heavily involved with Patterson’s yearly Giving Week as well as building dressers for local families in need that utilize the nonprofit Bridging.

“I like working with my coworkers in ways that aren’t our normal jobs. It’s nice to work with colleagues in a different manner than you’re used to. It’s been fun getting to know a lot of different people.”

All told and totaled, the FY2024 Dollars for Doers numbers come in as:

61 nonprofits

$54,900 donated to these nonprofits
