Logistics

State of the art and lightning fast

    Global distribution expertise

Health care can’t wait, so our more than 70 fulfillment centers with over 2.6 million square feet are strategically located across North America, providing superior service levels. Utilizing a mix of Patterson self-delivery fleets and best-in-class third-party delivery partners, we’re able to consistently provide our customers with fast shipping and a wide array of products and services.

One of every two UPS trucks is carrying a Patterson package.

Patterson serves 95% of our customers with one-day ground delivery service.

Each day, our logistics team processes 14,000 orders and 33,000 packages with more than 99% accuracy.

Delivery that is state of the art and biosecure

All of our customers need fast delivery. Many need biosecure delivery as well, which follows strict regulatory standards. We meet those standards – and go beyond. Our products and facilities are accredited by state and federal agencies. We store products in a controlled environment and every order is packed with precision and care to ensure accuracy.

Certain wholesale drug distributor locations are accredited and inspected by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) to guarantee the safe distribution of prescription drugs.

We adhere to the International Organization for Standardization 13485 (ISO) to help ensure our medical devices meet regulatory demands for safety and efficacy.

Since the products we ship support the health of humans and animal, we are American Institute of Baking (AIB) certified. This certification program is related to quality management, process optimization, and avoidance of recalls within our facilities.

    Always advancing our facilities

Our Dinuba, California, fulfillment center features our state-of-the-art distribution with an environmental flair – solar panels on the roof that provide power for the building. And our Spitfire House in the U.K., opened in 2023, meets its challenge of delivering excellence in animal health, along with a smaller carbon pawprint. We recently expanded our Montreal operations to include a new ERP system and additional warehouse space with advanced material handling.

    Innovation at work

One of our latest innovations? Called cobots (collaborative robots), they’re autonomous robots that help employees do their jobs more easily and efficiently … think less walking, less lifting and more accuracy.
